Audio Upcycle was founded by Chrissy Tignor, a project where she built a recording facility at El Conservatorio Nacional de Música in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic entirely out of donations. The mission is to bring recording equipment to areas of need to preserve musical legacy and to create an archive of recorded material, and she hopes to expand this project to other parts of the world.
